A few weeks ago, I had the luxury of a 24-hour layover in Hawaii on a 17+ hour flight. Hearing that Hawaii is among the most beautiful places on earth, I seized the chance to make the most of my free time. Hawaii remains on my bucket list because I knew I would have a fantastic beach time like nowhere else. After the long hours of the cramped plane time, the humid air of Hawaii hit me and I couldn't wait to explore the city.

Exploring Waikiki Beach
There is no better site than Waikiki to catch the first few waves; I couldn't believe where I was. Finding a surf station was never challenging because so many are near the beach. You can arrange a private tour of the location if you need help. I spoke with some locals and learned that the optimum time to catch the waves was in the middle of the morning. I got some fantastic exercise the next morning by surfing. I woke up early. Although it wasn't long enough, I believe this is the finest way to spend your Waikiki morning.
Consuming poke with ice cream
Shaving ice and poke bowls have always piqued my interest. My favorite poke bowls can be found on Waikiki's streets for a fair price from vendors just a short walk from my hostel. In addition to this, I ordered the seafood because I couldn't help myself.
Exploring Pearl Harbour
You won't have trouble finding tours and private automobiles to take you there, or you can just book a cab as it is pretty close. I hired an Uber in the afternoon and went to Pearl Harbour. I've always wanted to visit because of the incredible history.

I then go to the Farmers Market in the evening because I wanted to experience the city like a local. Vendors shouting from every nook and cranny, taking delight in the regional goods they were selling, kept the gathering entertained. Horse-riding
My next item on the list was horseback riding, so I went to Kaa'awa Valley, a renowned location for filming many well-known sights.
